LOU HAMILTON: CONNECTING CULTURES

LOU HAMILTON: CONNECTING CULTURES
|
|
Friday 2 March - Saturday 21 April
Wiltshire born multi-award winning filmmaker and photographer Lou Hamilton makes works which uncover what it is to be human; a celebration of who we are and our experiences.
Fascinated by collage and photomontage she creates digital patchworks of photo-images and text. Her work for this exhibition explores how a moment captured can connect us with each other; a treasured possession can connect us with a memory of a loved one; a souvenir with the culture of a place visited.
Lou connects people and cultures in a visual narrative. This exhibition will also feature images by the Corsham School’s A level photography students, who are working with Lou on the Connecting Cultures theme. This exhibition links to our Global Village Film Festival.

A pioneering animated feature, My Dog Tulip is the first film to be entirely hand-drawn and painted using paperless computer technology.
