Join textiles artist Jess Way for a fun and creative Family Sewing Workshop! Open to all abilities, this session invites children and their grown-ups to sit down, switch off, and get stitching together. In this session, you'll be creating your own unique bookmark! We'll be using big needles and cross-stitch fabric- making it an easy introduction to sewing, but with plenty of scope for getting creative with your design. Sewing is not only a calming, mindful activity; it’s also great for developing hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout, it's a great excuse to have some quality time together and not have to do the tidying up!
